WEBVTT

00:00:00.000 --> 00:00:12.660
Hello to everyone listening. It's me again, Olga Chekoy, with my podcast Women's Club,

00:00:12.660 --> 00:00:18.300
for any modern woman. This is where we talk about the things that actually matter

00:00:18.300 --> 00:00:24.360
and interview the best experts in Vancouver. And today Oxana Kirsanova is with us:

00:00:24.360 --> 00:00:32.920
founder of Yoga Bar, a yoga and fitness studio named best business in Canada two years running by the Canadian Business Bureau.

00:00:33.560 --> 00:00:43.980
She is also founder and CEO of Sea to Sky Wellness Club, named best business in Canada three years running by the Canadian Business Review Board.

00:00:43.980 --> 00:00:49.160
Oxana runs international retreats devoted to psychedelic wellbeing.

00:00:49.160 --> 00:00:55.940
She is a certified psychedelic-assisted therapy practitioner and a specialist in psychedelic care.

00:00:56.520 --> 00:01:03.180
In 2022 she was named one of North America's top professionals by Winner Magazine,

00:01:03.720 --> 00:01:11.360
and she made the New York Journal's list of 30 most inspiring women to know in 2025.

00:01:12.000 --> 00:01:17.060
Honestly, I'm stunned. Who exactly is sitting with me at this beautiful table?

00:01:17.060 --> 00:01:22.940
I'd happily ask you a million questions just as a businesswoman.

00:01:22.940 --> 00:01:31.280
But today Oxana and I are talking about microdosing, and answering every question we've got. So first of all — hello.

00:01:31.280 --> 00:01:36.900
Hi Olya, and thank you so much for inviting me and giving me this chance

00:01:36.900 --> 00:01:44.620
to step a little outside my comfort zone, because talking about psychedelics in Russian

00:01:44.620 --> 00:01:50.420
is not that easy. But I'm here today for you, for all our listeners.

00:01:50.980 --> 00:01:54.620
And I'll try to share everything I know. Thank you.

00:01:55.180 --> 00:02:01.700
I'm so glad you came. And I'll try to stay on one topic,

00:02:01.860 --> 00:02:07.820
because there really are a lot of questions. When we were planning this podcast,

00:02:07.920 --> 00:02:11.340
I had one idea in my head about what microdosing was.

00:02:11.340 --> 00:02:30.960
And once we started talking before we recorded, I realised it's a completely different story. But let me not run ahead with my questions — let's start at the beginning. What is microdosing, what are psychedelics. Let's start there.

00:02:30.960 --> 00:02:36.840
Yes, there are a lot of questions on this subject. I understand — I was there too.

00:02:36.840 --> 00:02:44.940
Many years ago I knew just as little. And I probably thought what most people think:

00:02:44.940 --> 00:02:53.200
that these are drugs, that you shouldn't touch them. But I'd like to start with a disclaimer.

00:02:53.200 --> 00:02:58.540
Everything I share today — and I say this to everyone —

00:02:58.540 --> 00:03:05.680
take only what actually makes sense to you.

00:03:05.960 --> 00:03:11.180
Nothing you hear today is medical advice.

00:03:11.340 --> 00:03:15.520
I'm not a doctor. I'm a certified psychedelic therapy practitioner.

00:03:16.240 --> 00:03:24.620
Your own judgement still applies, and if you have any health conditions,

00:03:24.920 --> 00:03:27.240
all of this has to be discussed with your doctor.

00:03:27.240 --> 00:03:44.960
Everything I say today has one purpose: education about psychedelics. There are so many myths around this subject, and today we want to clear them up.

00:03:44.960 --> 00:04:02.580
So what are psychedelics and how do they work? Psychedelics are a class of substances that change perception and thought processes. They interact with serotonin receptors in the brain, which produces changes in consciousness.

00:04:02.580 --> 00:04:10.760
Probably the main thing about psychedelics is that they help you see the world, and yourself, from a new perspective.

00:04:10.760 --> 00:04:18.120
You get access to the subconscious. Normally, when we're awake, the subconscious part

00:04:18.120 --> 00:04:26.740
of the brain isn't available to us. Here you get access to it, and to deep layers of memory and emotion.

00:04:26.740 --> 00:04:35.240
It's like an express ticket. A bit like hypnosis.

00:04:35.240 --> 00:04:43.060
Is that right — when we're in very deep sleep and images start coming from the past? Absolutely, yes.

00:04:43.060 --> 00:04:50.620
It's a very similar thing. There are different kinds of psychedelics. Psilocybin, which is what we'll be

00:04:50.620 --> 00:04:58.760
going into more deeply today. LSD and MDMA — those are synthetic substances.

00:04:58.760 --> 00:05:06.520
I don't work with them; I'm not certified to. Although at school we were taught how they work,

00:05:07.020 --> 00:05:14.640
how they interact, what effect they have on the brain. Ayahuasca is a traditional South American

00:05:14.640 --> 00:05:20.340
brew, often used in shamanic ceremonies for healing and spiritual growth.

00:05:20.760 --> 00:05:27.660
But today we're only talking about psilocybin, which is what's in magic mushrooms.

00:05:28.120 --> 00:05:36.740
Each psychedelic works differently. Psilocybin expands perception,

00:05:36.820 --> 00:05:45.760
it acts on serotonin receptors. Ayahuasca works a little differently. But personally,

00:05:45.760 --> 00:05:54.540
my work — I'm someone with twenty years in the wellness industry —

00:05:54.540 --> 00:06:02.380
it isn't my passion to work with something

00:06:02.380 --> 00:06:06.340
made in a laboratory. I lean more towards—

00:06:06.340 --> 00:06:11.900
Sorry, let me interrupt. In my head LSD was always something narcotic, no?

00:06:12.600 --> 00:06:20.520
Isn't it classed as a narcotic? Well, in 1960 all of these were placed

00:06:21.040 --> 00:06:28.760
in the Controlled Substances Act. They were all put on the Schedule I list under the controlled substances law.

00:06:28.860 --> 00:06:36.740
So LSD, magic mushrooms, ayahuasca — all of it counts as an illegal drug.

00:06:36.820 --> 00:06:44.480
But it's important to explain to people why that happened and how—

00:06:44.480 --> 00:06:50.320
We'll go a bit deeper into that, so people understand why it was done and what for.

00:06:50.800 --> 00:06:57.800
Okay, good. Let's carry on then. So we're staying with magic mushrooms — or, as you said, wonder mushrooms?

00:06:58.000 --> 00:07:02.880
Wonder mushrooms. Wonder mushrooms. Tell us what they're used for.

00:07:03.020 --> 00:07:07.020
We'll leave the rest aside and focus on the mushrooms.

00:07:07.140 --> 00:07:11.860
What are they used for? Well, magic mushrooms, wonder mushrooms —

00:07:12.480 --> 00:07:19.260
I only support their use in therapy. Because when I announced

00:07:19.900 --> 00:07:28.060
that we'd be doing this podcast, and that we'd be running an event together on microdosing,

00:07:28.480 --> 00:07:36.640
a lot of sceptical questions came in. Wow, this is beyond the pale, that kind of thing. And again, I want

00:07:36.640 --> 00:07:44.900
to say what I worked out for myself about mushrooms: there's recreational use — not drugs,

00:07:44.900 --> 00:07:52.980
recreational use, as you put it — and there's therapy. Today we are not talking about the mushrooms you can go and

00:07:52.980 --> 00:07:58.280
buy on Hastings Street, take, and then go watch Avatar.

00:07:58.620 --> 00:08:06.880
We're talking about them for healing, for therapy. Is that right? Yes, and I also want to say

00:08:07.020 --> 00:08:14.120
that I don't support recreational use. Plant medicine as a whole —

00:08:14.820 --> 00:08:23.220
these healing plants were handed to us thousands of years ago.

00:08:23.220 --> 00:08:29.700
They were passed down for work: to heal physical ailments,

00:08:29.820 --> 00:08:32.660
to grow spiritually, to develop.

00:08:32.800 --> 00:08:39.980
This is not something I'd recommend taking on recreational occasions.

00:08:40.220 --> 00:08:45.580
It's a medicine, and there is a great deal of wisdom in this medicine.

00:08:46.120 --> 00:08:53.020
So I take all of it very seriously, and I only work as a therapist,

00:08:53.420 --> 00:09:01.460
and we only use it for therapy. That was important to say, so that our listeners, and the people coming to our event,

00:09:01.520 --> 00:09:06.660
don't get the wrong idea — that they'll turn up and take mushrooms together in a group.

00:09:07.320 --> 00:09:13.740
That's not what this is. It will all be very gentle and closely supervised.

00:09:14.260 --> 00:09:20.160
A hundred percent. Yes. So — what are psychedelics used for?

00:09:20.260 --> 00:09:35.940
What for? Well, my clients — I mostly work in therapy, and therapy can look very different. Some people come with an addiction, to cannabis, say, or to alcohol.

00:09:35.940 --> 00:09:41.240
Some carry trauma from childhood that was never worked through.

00:09:41.240 --> 00:09:46.040
Very often we see sexual trauma that happened in childhood,

00:09:46.040 --> 00:09:51.040
and people aren't even aware of it, because in order to keep living,

00:09:51.040 --> 00:09:59.860
when trauma happens your brain closes that memory off and pushes it far down into the subconscious, where we have no access to it.

00:09:59.860 --> 00:10:03.420
And many people don't understand what is happening to them.

00:10:03.420 --> 00:10:12.820
That trauma — when we work with psilocybin, we bring it up, it comes to the surface, and we work with it.

00:10:12.820 --> 00:10:42.800
A lot of my clients come working with post-traumatic stress disorder, a great many of them. And of course spiritual growth — people who feel lost, looking for something new, looking to connect with spirit, with their own development, looking for

00:10:42.820 --> 00:10:51.640
answers. A lot of clients come to me and say, I want to know the answers to my questions.

00:10:52.320 --> 00:10:59.440
And I always ask: are you ready to hear the answers? You have to be

00:10:59.440 --> 00:11:07.240
prepared for it. There is so much wisdom in these healing plants, in psilocybin, in the mushrooms, that it really can

00:11:07.240 --> 00:11:09.540
deliver the answers to all your questions.

00:11:10.360 --> 00:11:18.900
But you have to be ready for that. Not everyone is. You mentioned ayahuasca. There was a period in my life when

00:11:18.900 --> 00:11:26.300
— I don't know if it was a thirties crisis or what happened to me — I started asking questions about

00:11:26.300 --> 00:11:34.780
what I'm living for, what my mission is. And I had this idea: I should try something like that, ayahuasca.

00:11:35.100 --> 00:11:41.380
I'd heard about ayahuasca. And when I started reading about it, I realised I wasn't ready.

00:11:41.380 --> 00:11:49.500
I didn't want to try it. I was ready to live through that thirties crisis, whatever it's called,

00:11:49.660 --> 00:11:57.340
but I wasn't ready to experiment on myself. I think it takes a certain kind of person,

00:11:57.340 --> 00:12:03.120
or some genuinely heavy circumstances that bring you to it.

00:12:03.640 --> 00:12:11.960
A hundred percent. That's why in our therapy we have the phrase set and setting. By set we mean mindset — we prepare

00:12:11.960 --> 00:12:16.120
the person's mindset. And setting is the environment the therapy takes place in.

00:12:16.220 --> 00:12:23.820
Those two things matter enormously. That's why my process with psilocybin

00:12:23.820 --> 00:12:31.880
usually takes up to three months, and why I spend so much time on the preparation:

00:12:31.880 --> 00:12:38.040
preparing your brain, your thinking, your subconscious. We work through

00:12:38.040 --> 00:12:44.520
all the what-ifs. My job is to prepare you as thoroughly

00:12:44.640 --> 00:12:50.040
as possible, so the session goes smoothly. With positive results?

00:12:50.820 --> 00:12:55.880
A hundred percent. And the results are always positive, however it may look at the time.

00:12:55.940 --> 00:13:00.460
Over the four to six hours the session lasts — in English there's

00:13:00.520 --> 00:13:06.040
that phrase, a bad trip. I always say there is no such thing as a bad trip. It's always good.

00:13:06.040 --> 00:13:28.840
You can cry, you can sob, you can let go of everything that isn't yours — all your pain, all your blocks, you can release it. Yes, it can look very intense, and that's why I'm with you the whole way through. A session usually runs six to eight hours, and I sit with my client for all of it.

00:13:28.840 --> 00:13:33.840
Are we talking about microdosing here — are those the results you get from microdosing?

00:13:33.900 --> 00:13:35.120
No, from macrodosing.

00:13:35.120 --> 00:13:53.480
That's macrodosing, right. But today we're specifically on microdosing, so let's not drift. Let me ask this instead: what's the difference between ordinary antidepressants, when we feel we need them, and microdosing?

00:13:53.480 --> 00:14:03.900
Because listening to you, I got the impression microdosing works something like an antidepressant. What's the difference?

00:14:03.900 --> 00:14:12.840
That's a wonderful question. And I want to come back to your earlier one,

00:14:12.840 --> 00:14:18.200
the one where you said you'd lost your train of thought.

00:14:18.200 --> 00:14:22.240
Let me backtrack a little.

00:14:22.240 --> 00:14:29.500
Let me explain the difference between psilocybin and antidepressants.

00:14:29.500 --> 00:14:37.320
The biggest difference is that antidepressants simply put a lid on all your emotions.

00:14:37.760 --> 00:14:43.640
Think about it: you as a person, your physical body, your subconscious —

00:14:43.840 --> 00:14:47.060
we were born into this world to feel.

00:14:47.520 --> 00:14:54.140
We were born to feel love, tenderness, worry, sadness.

00:14:54.280 --> 00:15:01.720
Sadness is as good as joy. But in the world around us

00:15:01.720 --> 00:15:08.240
we're taught it isn't good to be sad. Not good to be angry. Not good to run.

00:15:08.240 --> 00:15:16.960
And so the antidepressants. The moment I start to feel sad, the moment I feel — oh, it's winter, there's no sun,

00:15:16.960 --> 00:15:25.860
my energy is low. Okay, off I go to the doctor, and the doctor says: depression. Straight away they put the label on you,

00:15:25.860 --> 00:15:29.260
hand you the pills, and you go home. Yes, they do love doing that here.

00:15:29.820 --> 00:15:34.960
And so all your emotions just get a lid put on them.

00:15:35.340 --> 00:15:40.300
When you work with psilocybin — microdosing, macrodosing — it's a completely different thing.

00:15:40.460 --> 00:15:48.920
This is the most important thing for anyone to understand, the biggest difference: psilocybin is not a narcotic.

00:15:49.000 --> 00:15:53.840
Because a narcotic puts a lid on all your emotions, all your feelings.

00:15:54.360 --> 00:16:03.120
Psilocybin does the opposite: it brings everything up and makes you work through it, live through it. When you go

00:16:03.120 --> 00:16:11.760
through something dark — like driving through a tunnel and seeing there's light ahead — that's therapy with psilocybin.

00:16:11.760 --> 00:16:19.260
You know there's light. But you have to walk through the dark yourself. And while you do, you're given the experience

00:16:19.260 --> 00:16:28.180
of how to live through that dark. And you start to really understand that this dark is part of your subconscious, part of your every day,

00:16:28.180 --> 00:16:34.460
part of being alive. And you start to love it the way you love the positive emotions and feelings.

00:16:34.460 --> 00:16:41.940
You start to understand that you're made of this. You're one whole. And you begin to love every side of yourself.

00:16:41.940 --> 00:16:50.120
There's no negative and positive here. It simply is. You look at it as yours, with love, with patience,

00:16:50.120 --> 00:16:54.180
with compassion. With acceptance, more than anything. Yes, exactly.

00:16:54.960 --> 00:16:58.360
It isn't bad or good, it just is. That's an enormous difference.

00:16:58.420 --> 00:17:03.360
An enormous difference between a narcotic substance and psilocybin.

00:17:03.560 --> 00:17:07.580
So it — was that about microdosing or macrodosing?

00:17:07.620 --> 00:17:14.000
Can you reach those results with microdosing? You can, of course, but it takes much longer.

00:17:14.000 --> 00:17:18.000
Usually the people who microdose —

00:17:18.000 --> 00:17:25.380
microdosing is a small dose, somewhere between 50 and 300 milligrams.

00:17:25.940 --> 00:17:29.440
A macrodose is between three and five grams.

00:17:29.440 --> 00:17:40.040
And when we do the big dose, three to five grams, we usually clear — I'd say — ten to fifteen years of trauma.

00:17:40.340 --> 00:17:48.800
You can go to a psychologist and spend ten or fifteen years on it, or you can sit down once

00:17:48.800 --> 00:17:57.000
and work through all of it in four to six hours. For me, listening to this,

00:17:57.080 --> 00:17:57.880
it looks like—

00:17:58.760 --> 00:18:06.800
I don't have the urge to do a macrodose yet. I probably don't have big traumas I'm desperate

00:18:06.800 --> 00:18:14.880
to work through. My interest is purely educational. The world is moving, this is becoming a trend,

00:18:14.880 --> 00:18:22.820
you hear about it more every day. And you don't want to stand there like some old woman at the market going, oh, drugs, here we go.

00:18:23.220 --> 00:18:31.240
You want to know what's going on, so that in any conversation you know what to say, or can hold the conversation,

00:18:31.340 --> 00:18:36.560
or at least have some information. So thank you for educating us.

00:18:37.140 --> 00:18:44.000
The difference is more or less clear now. Next I'd like to move to the history.

00:18:44.740 --> 00:18:51.120
Where did all this start? Where do these mushrooms come from, how do they grow, who grows them?

00:18:51.680 --> 00:18:56.160
All of that is interesting. They didn't just fall out of the sky.

00:18:56.880 --> 00:19:04.120
If you're saying this isn't made in a laboratory, that these are natural mushrooms growing somewhere,

00:19:04.180 --> 00:19:10.960
I want to know where it all came from. Yes, of course. And I think it's important for our listeners to touch on

00:19:11.040 --> 00:19:19.080
why mushrooms were labelled narcotics in the first place. Because a mushroom grows like a cabbage grows.

00:19:19.640 --> 00:19:22.040
True. I love chanterelles.

00:19:24.040 --> 00:19:30.260
Pickled, preserved, all of that. Yes. I think this is important to cover.

00:19:30.420 --> 00:19:36.640
Honestly — if someone reads the Bible, or is into Buddhism,

00:19:37.000 --> 00:19:44.900
even in Sanskrit many years ago. The use of psilocybin goes back thousands of years in our history.

00:19:44.900 --> 00:20:04.920
In Sanskrit, the drink that was taken with psilocybin had exactly the same name as the cell of our body. The drink containing psilocybin and the cell of our own body shared one name in Sanskrit.

00:20:04.920 --> 00:20:25.520
So that's where it all begins. The way I see it, psilocybin was originally used to treat physical illness, particularly stomach and digestive problems.

00:20:25.520 --> 00:20:39.000
Then it was used in rituals, as a way to find more connection with something spiritual, to expand your spiritual development.

00:20:39.000 --> 00:20:47.160
Today we use psilocybin not only to heal trauma, or to help

00:20:47.160 --> 00:20:54.440
heal some trauma. Today, 99% of my clients experience

00:20:54.440 --> 00:21:03.280
a very large spiritual healing. Connecting with something

00:21:03.280 --> 00:21:11.660
infinite, eternal. Yes, with the infinite and eternal. But think about it: two thousand years ago we weren't surrounded by concrete buildings.

00:21:12.360 --> 00:21:18.700
People ran barefoot; they could always take that energy from the planet.

00:21:19.240 --> 00:21:25.880
There were no mobile phones. People weren't so disconnected, so— From nature, yes.

00:21:26.120 --> 00:21:32.480
They were reconnecting with nature. So they were constantly in a spiritually developed state.

00:21:33.000 --> 00:21:41.900
Today, unfortunately, we aren't. Our system doesn't help us develop spiritually. If anything it puts up

00:21:41.900 --> 00:21:50.300
obstacles to it. Which is why every second client who comes to me

00:21:50.300 --> 00:21:58.020
has the same wish: I want to grow spiritually. So now we use psilocybin to grow spiritually.

00:21:58.020 --> 00:22:04.980
Before it was used as a treatment, as a herb. Now it's more

00:22:04.980 --> 00:22:13.660
an experience of something spiritual, where you start to understand that you are so much more than

00:22:13.660 --> 00:22:21.600
your physical body. And actually, Olya — sorry, while you're thinking of your next question — I think it's important to touch on

00:22:21.600 --> 00:22:28.420
why psilocybin was declared a narcotic and banned. Roughly around—

00:22:28.420 --> 00:22:35.940
the War on Drugs. That was a very famous campaign, in the 1960s,

00:22:36.480 --> 00:22:43.700
when people found that mushrooms were accessible. You could grow them in your backyard,

00:22:43.820 --> 00:22:51.360
you could grow them in your garden. People had access. And once they started taking them, they began to

00:22:51.360 --> 00:23:00.060
associate — there was a lot of association with protests against the war, with the cultural split, with rejecting traditional

00:23:00.060 --> 00:23:08.000
values. Which of course didn't help our system, our government. It made our government very

00:23:08.000 --> 00:23:15.420
frightened. Looking at all of it: people can think for themselves, they don't need to be told what to do.

00:23:15.780 --> 00:23:21.580
Suddenly you're not raising a flock of sheep that follows you around without asking questions.

00:23:21.860 --> 00:23:27.840
Because it starts with our school system, when we make our children sit for eight hours.

00:23:27.980 --> 00:23:35.480
Think about it — children physically are not able to sit for eight hours at school

00:23:35.480 --> 00:23:43.360
and study. This whole system is built to make people simply follow,

00:23:43.360 --> 00:23:51.740
to move as one big crowd, without questions. We don't think for ourselves, our creativity isn't developed, our cognitive thinking isn't developed.

00:23:51.740 --> 00:23:59.600
We're producing a crowd. But when you start taking mushrooms — and this began in the 1960s — people started protesting

00:23:59.600 --> 00:24:07.940
and saying: no, I don't like the school system. No, I don't like the conventional medical system. I don't like these laws. They started voicing opinions.

00:24:07.940 --> 00:24:16.200
And so they were banned. Mushrooms were treated the same as LSD, MDMA,

00:24:16.200 --> 00:24:23.260
ayahuasca, all the psychedelics. Written into the Controlled Substances Act,

00:24:23.260 --> 00:24:31.400
where they remain illegal to this day. Though I think there's

00:24:31.480 --> 00:24:36.020
another side to it too. As you said, any procedure — with macrodosing, certainly,

00:24:36.360 --> 00:24:44.480
and microdosing, I'm not sure, I'll ask you in a moment — but macrodosing has to be supervised.

00:24:44.600 --> 00:24:53.520
You can't take something uncontrolled. In my understanding, with those same mushrooms — you go, you buy them, you take them,

00:24:53.660 --> 00:24:59.900
and you don't know what the outcome will be. You don't know the result, if you've never done it. And if some person happened to tell you

00:25:01.120 --> 00:25:06.220
take this much, whatever it is, then you're doing it entirely at your own risk.

00:25:06.480 --> 00:25:15.240
What can that kind of uncontrolled use lead to?

00:25:15.940 --> 00:25:24.500
I don't recommend it, because if you don't know what you're doing, it's like — if you can't drive, don't get behind the wheel.

00:25:24.500 --> 00:25:26.260
That's a good comparison. Absolutely. Because even if you want to find protocols, if you want to look

00:25:27.060 --> 00:25:34.960
something up online, unfortunately

00:25:35.660 --> 00:25:44.440
our search results tell you these are drugs, and there's very little information.

00:25:44.440 --> 00:25:52.460
So no, I don't recommend doing a large dose alone. It's preparation, serious preparation. When I work with clients it takes me

00:25:52.460 --> 00:26:00.820
a minimum of four hours to prepare someone. Three or four sessions of preparation, then the session itself, and then

00:26:00.820 --> 00:26:08.960
integration begins, which matters enormously to the whole thing. If you do this alone, you can genuinely

00:26:09.080 --> 00:26:16.660
develop trauma afterwards, because you don't know what you're doing. You don't know how the brain works, what the effect is,

00:26:16.660 --> 00:26:18.740
what happens at the receptors in the brain. When you truly have no knowledge, you can experience

00:26:19.500 --> 00:26:26.960
great fear and great trauma.

00:26:26.960 --> 00:26:34.860
That's why I don't recommend it. Microdosing is quite different. With microdosing you can take it — that's the beauty of it,

00:26:34.860 --> 00:26:42.300
it's a small dose, you can take it daily. And it's written on the jar. There are various

00:26:42.300 --> 00:26:50.180
microdosing protocols. But the main thing is still integration. If a person doesn't know how to integrate

00:26:50.180 --> 00:26:55.780
it into daily life, again without a therapist, then they're just taking something

00:26:55.860 --> 00:27:00.080
and not understanding what's happening. As I said: it doesn't matter what car it is — if you can't drive it, don't get behind the wheel.

00:27:00.220 --> 00:27:06.380
Let's answer a question from one of our subscribers, because it worried me.

00:27:06.440 --> 00:27:12.060
She writes: I have dried fly agaric. What dose should I start with, and what time of day is best?

00:27:12.640 --> 00:27:16.100
I read it and I get genuinely frightened. Someone has fly agaric at home.

00:27:17.720 --> 00:27:25.040
And the first question is: where did you even get it?

00:27:25.500 --> 00:27:32.240
That's the other question, yes. As a specialist, how would you answer about this dried fly agaric?

00:27:32.300 --> 00:27:36.480
So there are two questions. The dose, and the time of day. I'm curious about that too — why time of day?

00:27:36.600 --> 00:27:40.520
Is there a difference? Yes. No, there's definitely a difference.

00:27:42.820 --> 00:27:49.780
But first I'll say this: don't touch your fly agaric.

00:27:50.280 --> 00:27:57.720
Don't touch your fly agaric. When you don't understand what it is, what kind of mushroom it is,

00:27:57.720 --> 00:28:02.300
or how it works — don't touch it. Give yourself the chance not to go through what

00:28:02.400 --> 00:28:08.040
might happen. What can happen, let's say. Here's what can happen.

00:28:08.140 --> 00:28:15.740
So there are many of them. Many, yes, and we don't know. Second, where was that fly agaric grown and where was it bought? Because every

00:28:16.920 --> 00:28:24.880
healing plant carries the energy of every person who touched it.

00:28:24.880 --> 00:28:32.980
I always say mushrooms should be grown organically. They should be grown with a sound bath,

00:28:33.200 --> 00:28:40.860
with sound— Oh my God! The mushrooms live better than I do! Yes. And the fewer people who touch them, the better.

00:28:40.980 --> 00:28:48.900
And they should be people who are genuinely spiritually developed. Because there is so much wisdom in this plant

00:28:49.480 --> 00:28:56.600
that the energy of every person is simply passed on to you. So it matters a great deal where you buy it, who you get it from,

00:28:56.660 --> 00:29:04.580
and how it's grown. Exactly like going to the shop and looking at organic spinach versus non-organic spinach. It's the same thing.

00:29:04.640 --> 00:29:12.320
It matters. All right, leaving aside where it was bought — what's the risk if,

00:29:12.660 --> 00:29:16.120
say, I've got fly agaric at home, I'm in a bad mood today, and I think, let me try it.

00:29:16.380 --> 00:29:19.880
What happens? Diarrhoea, vomiting?

00:29:20.980 --> 00:29:27.660
Usually if you just take one mushroom, and take it on an empty stomach,

00:29:27.780 --> 00:29:33.880
mushrooms tend to cause very unpleasant nausea. You can feel sick, you can vomit.

00:29:34.340 --> 00:29:41.900
Nausea, vomiting. Also not understanding how your own brain is working, because you're in an altered state of mind.

00:29:42.900 --> 00:29:50.600
Hallucinations. Yes, you can have hallucinations. You can completely lose track of where you are and what's happening. Of course.

00:29:50.600 --> 00:29:59.480
From what I've heard from my own clients, across different experiences, some get very strong belching,

00:29:59.480 --> 00:30:08.020
and sometimes even heartburn. That's the worst of it physically. And then trauma, of course, if you don't understand what you're doing

00:30:08.020 --> 00:30:16.220
and you don't understand the messages these healing plants give you. You can end up with very serious trauma.

00:30:16.220 --> 00:30:24.300
A lot of clients come to me who once ate mushrooms at some party, and were left with trauma, and they're frightened,

00:30:24.300 --> 00:30:31.380
because it was a very traumatic event. And mushrooms — I've just thought of a question.

00:30:31.380 --> 00:30:39.480
The ones for recreational use, and the ones for — how do I put it — for spiritual growth, let's call it that.

00:30:39.480 --> 00:30:42.860
Are they the same mushrooms or different ones?

00:30:42.860 --> 00:31:06.980
Well, there are different mushrooms. The most popular one, I'd say, is Golden Teacher. It has a different energy — a mother's energy. It comes to you with tenderness, with care; it usually appears as a female figure. You feel that energy as coming from Mother Earth, very spiritual, and it supports you.

00:31:06.980 --> 00:31:14.840
There are others. The second very popular one is, say, Penis Envy. Very— Penis Envy?

00:31:15.280 --> 00:31:33.520
Yes. The name itself tells you it's a masculine energy, a bit harsher. I don't work with those mushrooms; I only work with Golden Teacher, because during a session that energy of love, tenderness and care matters enormously, and it usually comes through those particular mushrooms.

00:31:33.520 --> 00:31:39.680
So when someone takes them recreationally, they might take any of them, all of them.

00:31:39.840 --> 00:31:44.140
So they're the same mushrooms, just carrying different meaning — is that right?

00:31:44.640 --> 00:31:53.240
Yes. But you see, I don't work recreationally, I don't support it, because it's exactly like valerian, say.

00:31:53.480 --> 00:31:57.120
Valerian is a herb that calms the nervous system.

00:31:57.180 --> 00:32:00.300
You wouldn't drink valerian before going out to see friends.

00:32:00.720 --> 00:32:02.820
Same thing here. This is a medicine.

00:32:02.820 --> 00:32:16.100
It's a medicine that truly heals, if we use it properly — with respect, with love, with trust, the way it was handed to us by our ancestors thousands of years ago, and without abusing it.

00:32:16.100 --> 00:32:21.420
If we need it, we treat ourselves. If we don't, we don't. That's logical, yes.

00:32:22.060 --> 00:32:26.900
You didn't answer my question about where mushrooms come from. Where do yours come from?

00:32:27.400 --> 00:32:33.720
Where do you get them? Who produces them? Do you grow them yourself? If you're not comfortable, you don't have to answer,

00:32:33.720 --> 00:32:37.760
you can say it's your own private information.

00:32:39.360 --> 00:32:44.460
I'll put it this way: I prefer a very clean product, organic.

00:32:44.460 --> 00:32:51.620
In North America we love to mix everything with either sodium or sugar.

00:32:51.620 --> 00:32:59.740
There are a lot of products on the market — chocolate, gummies, sweets with mushrooms added.

00:32:59.740 --> 00:33:07.460
You do not need that sugar at all. I like a very clean organic product. Mine is grown especially for me

00:33:07.460 --> 00:33:14.920
by people who are spiritually developed, people who understand the connection, what these mushrooms are actually for.

00:33:15.060 --> 00:33:20.600
And I can assure you that we play sound baths to our mushrooms.

00:33:21.780 --> 00:33:26.960
Yes, I gathered — they grow under supervision, so to speak.

00:33:27.720 --> 00:33:35.060
Now, another question, a purely legal one. Are there legal

00:33:35.060 --> 00:33:40.580
restrictions on magic mushrooms? Are they still considered illegal?

00:33:40.580 --> 00:33:44.320
I mean, now— Looking around, it seems you can find them somewhere.

00:33:44.320 --> 00:33:48.720
A woman here ran a workshop, handing out mushroom chocolates.

00:33:48.840 --> 00:33:57.360
I was surprised. Yes, well, in Vancouver we're fairly relaxed about it. Vancouver is a bit easy-going that way.

00:33:57.640 --> 00:34:02.660
Things are opening up. And a great deal of funding is going

00:34:02.660 --> 00:34:10.440
into study and science right now — research, experiments.

00:34:10.580 --> 00:34:18.200
Johns Hopkins is working on it. The international association MAPS is working on it. There's a lot of research.

00:34:18.200 --> 00:34:26.120
A lot of it aimed at what we call alternative medicine. Which is interesting, because

00:34:26.120 --> 00:34:33.960
this really ought to be conventional medicine.

00:34:33.960 --> 00:34:39.020
But we call it alternative. We have a lot of that — acupuncture is also considered alternative medicine, but really it's traditional. And everyone goes, and it helps everyone.

00:34:39.020 --> 00:34:55.800
Exactly. So a lot of effort and energy is going into it now. The University of Ottawa launched the first year of a master's degree in psychedelic studies — that's a big breakthrough.

00:34:55.800 --> 00:35:03.800
In Utah — Utah is considered one of the biggest states for this. Canada is actually first in the world right now for research and development in psychedelics.

00:35:04.540 --> 00:35:13.300
A lot of schools are opening that train therapists. Utah, and Dallas, host very large conferences

00:35:13.500 --> 00:35:19.960
where you can genuinely get trained — or rather educate yourself in this field.

00:35:20.480 --> 00:35:24.960
In the US, Oregon was the first state

00:35:25.800 --> 00:35:29.360
where you can now open psychedelic clinics.

00:35:30.180 --> 00:35:37.200
Local ones. I wasn't surprised about Oregon, honestly — it's the mecca for this. So it's all slowly

00:35:37.200 --> 00:35:46.140
gaining momentum. And I'm sure that even where this information isn't available yet, more and more people will

00:35:46.140 --> 00:35:55.000
come to this kind of medicine. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if in a few years,

00:35:55.000 --> 00:36:01.860
maybe a few more, we add mushrooms to acupuncture and herbal treatment.

00:36:02.360 --> 00:36:09.800
There really are a lot of myths on this subject. Tell us the most common ones.

00:36:10.580 --> 00:36:15.360
Probably the most popular one is addiction.

00:36:15.820 --> 00:36:24.700
Oh yes, that's interesting — if this is classed as a narcotic, then presumably the question of addiction—

00:36:24.700 --> 00:36:53.700
I love this question. Because when I work with a client and I see how the healing process goes — going through trauma, very intensely, sometimes physically, sometimes emotionally — after a six or eight hour session a person walks out looking like they've been hit by a train.

00:36:54.700 --> 00:37:00.400
Yes, and now I'll ask you something.

00:37:01.000 --> 00:37:07.020
Why does someone take drugs? I don't know, because I've never taken any narcotic substance myself.

00:37:07.740 --> 00:37:15.840
But I know drugs help you escape reality, and you start to feel good.

00:37:16.700 --> 00:37:22.820
I can't answer that either, because I'm equally far from drugs.

00:37:22.820 --> 00:37:30.580
I think the worst thing that can happen to a person is drug addiction. I've never once had the thought of trying it,

00:37:30.580 --> 00:37:37.980
so I don't even know what drugs do. I only know the bad side of them.

00:37:37.980 --> 00:37:41.380
Presumably if a person turns to drugs,

00:37:41.380 --> 00:37:49.580
it gives them some positive effect. Usually they're escaping reality.

00:37:49.580 --> 00:37:57.160
Drugs, alcohol dependence, drug dependence — as we say,

00:37:57.260 --> 00:38:05.560
Gabor Maté, I love his book, where he talks a great deal about trauma. He says addiction was never

00:38:05.560 --> 00:38:08.540
the problem. Addiction is always—

00:38:09.320 --> 00:38:12.340
Addiction means dependency, yes?

00:38:13.920 --> 00:38:18.760
Addiction, dependency, yes — it was always the solution to a problem.

00:38:18.760 --> 00:38:27.780
When you take narcotic substances

00:38:27.780 --> 00:38:34.820
you're trying to run from your feelings, your emotions, from something in your past. You don't want to sit

00:38:34.820 --> 00:38:42.880
with all that unpleasant discomfort. You run from it. Psilocybin works the opposite way. It opens all of it up.

00:38:42.880 --> 00:38:50.800
It opens things up. So if I asked a client — hey, want to try it again,

00:38:50.920 --> 00:38:58.680
to feel good? — they usually look at me and say, there was nothing good about it, thank you. So there's no dependency as such,

00:38:58.680 --> 00:39:07.140
because you wouldn't even want to repeat the experience. When you go through it and you realise that in six to eight hours

00:39:07.140 --> 00:39:15.220
twenty years of trauma have gone. People do come back. Most of my clients come back again and again, because they understand how much

00:39:15.220 --> 00:39:23.160
it's worth. You can't buy this anywhere. But what trauma, if they're healed — why do they come back? Because there's a lot of

00:39:23.160 --> 00:39:27.180
trauma. Like you said to me today: I don't have any trauma.

00:39:27.220 --> 00:39:35.160
And I'm sitting there scratching my head thinking, everyone has trauma. We just don't know about it. We grew up in communist

00:39:35.160 --> 00:39:42.920
countries, in a completely different system. Believe me, there's a lot of trauma. Some of it stops you from living

00:39:42.920 --> 00:39:50.700
and moving forward. And there are gentler, more accessible methods — psychotherapy, say, which can

00:39:50.700 --> 00:39:57.740
help. It's softer, and something that isn't a very large trauma can generally be healed

00:39:57.740 --> 00:40:04.840
through psychotherapy. But there are genuinely big traumas — a person who lived through

00:40:04.840 --> 00:40:12.540
a death, a war, losing people close to them, some terrible illness. Things psychotherapy will not resolve in a few

00:40:12.540 --> 00:40:20.600
appointments. And in my case, thank God, nothing like that has happened, and I hope nothing will.

00:40:20.720 --> 00:40:28.620
So no, resorting to macrodosing hasn't crossed my mind. That's why I said I have no trauma — though of course

00:40:28.620 --> 00:40:36.680
everyone has their own quirks. As you said, we all came out of— Born in the USSR, I love that song,

00:40:37.180 --> 00:40:42.280
and we all came out of it, I think, with the very same traumas.

00:40:42.280 --> 00:40:50.000
A hundred percent. I keep watching all these bloggers posting reels about it, and I laugh,

00:40:50.140 --> 00:40:57.980
and I think, God, how true this is. It's all served with humour, with laughter, but there's nothing funny about it really.

00:40:58.480 --> 00:41:06.040
Sometimes it genuinely gets in the way of living. You know, when covid hit in 2020 and everyone ran out

00:41:06.040 --> 00:41:13.700
to buy toilet paper — I remember laughing. I didn't go either, because I thought our whole childhood happened without toilet paper.

00:41:13.880 --> 00:41:16.160
True. We'll survive.

00:41:17.500 --> 00:41:23.400
Our backsides aren't as delicate as Canadian ones. You were first in that queue.

00:41:24.200 --> 00:41:28.360
Right — macrodosing is clear. Microdosing is not clear at all.

00:41:28.460 --> 00:41:33.760
Let's talk specifically about microdosing: what it's good for, what it actually is.

00:41:33.760 --> 00:41:40.040
We more or less understand macrodosing now. But microdosing — how does it work?

00:41:40.400 --> 00:41:46.260
Microdosing is usually considered 50 to 300 milligrams.

00:41:46.540 --> 00:41:53.880
You have to find what's called the sweet spot, the dose that genuinely suits you. There are different

00:41:53.880 --> 00:41:57.620
schedules for taking it, different protocols.

00:41:57.980 --> 00:42:03.480
Again, I only recommend an organic product, clean, with nothing added.

00:42:04.040 --> 00:42:09.860
It very slowly changes the neuroplasticity of your brain.

00:42:09.860 --> 00:42:38.940
If you have elevated stress, a lot of anxiety, it helps your emotional state, improves it — greater awareness, connection to the body, higher productivity, more creativity. And of course microdosing works slowly on all the conditioning that has been set in you by culture, by systems. All of that gradually starts to fall away,

00:42:38.940 --> 00:42:45.180
so you can build and re-create your own thinking, starting from a blank page.

00:42:45.200 --> 00:42:53.120
I've heard about this, actually. Years ago I was talking with my sister and she said, have you heard, some guy decided

00:42:53.560 --> 00:42:58.840
to eat some mushroom and became a completely different person.

00:42:58.960 --> 00:43:05.260
That they change you that much. There are some — I won't name them, it's probably frightening —

00:43:06.640 --> 00:43:11.140
mushrooms that completely change consciousness and you simply turn into another person.

00:43:11.180 --> 00:43:18.320
That exists too. But the work — I don't recommend giving it 100%, as in: I ate a mushroom and I'll change.

00:43:18.500 --> 00:43:27.220
That's what we call spiritual bypassing. You can't hand all your trust

00:43:27.220 --> 00:43:30.660
over to a mushroom. I'll eat this now and it will do all the work for me.

00:43:30.760 --> 00:43:34.900
No, that isn't true. And what work, anyway? You never know how it will turn out.

00:43:34.900 --> 00:43:36.500
Which is why integration matters so much.

00:43:36.500 --> 00:43:48.500
After every session, even when you're microdosing, a small dose, integration matters. With a macrodose we start with preparation, then the session, and then integration begins.

00:43:48.860 --> 00:43:57.300
So it isn't simple at all. No. Many people don't understand that integration is 99% of the work you have to do. If you don't do that work,

00:43:57.300 --> 00:44:04.580
you end up with spiritual bypassing. You can dress a certain way, wear the beads,

00:44:04.580 --> 00:44:12.040
eat organic food. But if you don't do the integration, if you don't grow spiritually— What is integration?

00:44:12.680 --> 00:44:20.300
Good question, what is integration. Integration is the process of understanding and applying the experience you had during

00:44:20.300 --> 00:44:29.100
the psychedelic journey — in everyday life. If some message

00:44:29.100 --> 00:44:36.860
is given to you through the healing plant, if during the experience you had in that

00:44:36.860 --> 00:44:44.760
session, in that therapy, a message came — you have to integrate it, you have to know how to integrate it. Integrate meaning? Into daily life. What does that mean?

00:44:44.880 --> 00:44:53.260
Bring it in? Bring it in and keep going. Let me give you an example. Look at our brain:

00:44:53.260 --> 00:45:01.420
neurons that fire together wire together. Which is why 90% of

00:45:01.420 --> 00:45:10.080
our everyday life runs on the brain's default mode settings. We run on habit. I always say there's no such thing as a good habit,

00:45:10.080 --> 00:45:18.360
because if it's a habit, it's a bad habit — you're doing it unconsciously. And that's how we live. We do the same thing over and over,

00:45:18.360 --> 00:45:26.320
we think the same thing over and over. These fears — a fear is just a pattern in your brain that has built up over

00:45:26.320 --> 00:45:29.620
many, many years. Financial fears. Who doesn't have financial fears?

00:45:29.820 --> 00:45:38.140
I certainly do. You see, you'd be a good candidate for a macrodose — we'd work on financial fears together. Because

00:45:38.260 --> 00:45:43.980
it's a pattern in your brain that just keeps playing the same song.

00:45:44.660 --> 00:45:52.040
Those patterns, when you start microdosing or macrodosing, slowly begin to break up, and slowly

00:45:52.040 --> 00:45:56.200
a new pattern starts forming, where you begin to understand that you don't need to be afraid.

00:45:56.260 --> 00:45:59.640
But again, to create them — what do you have to do to create them?

00:45:59.640 --> 00:46:03.720
There are various methods. They don't just appear on their own, so it needs—

00:46:03.720 --> 00:46:09.340
Supporting, it needs supporting. But then— Sorry, I'm going quite deep here.

00:46:09.460 --> 00:46:17.800
So we're changing one awareness for another, but that also becomes a habit. It's changed for the awareness

00:46:18.000 --> 00:46:21.920
that actually fits you at that moment, where you understand that—

00:46:21.920 --> 00:46:26.200
It's a choice. You choose: where am I spending my energy?

00:46:26.300 --> 00:46:34.240
Am I spending it on fear, or on moving forward and not being afraid of anything? What will you choose? The choice is obvious.

00:46:34.400 --> 00:46:34.740
Oxana.

00:46:37.420 --> 00:46:42.060
So you choose what genuinely fits you, and you support it.

00:46:42.180 --> 00:46:45.620
There are various methods. Every client is different: some do yoga,

00:46:45.620 --> 00:47:05.560
some do mindfulness, some meditate, some do breathwork. Keeping a journal, writing it down, spending time in nature barefoot so you can connect with the energy of nature, of Mother Earth. All of that is what integration means.

00:47:05.560 --> 00:47:13.140
Many of the messages that come from the healing plants during therapy have to be translated.

00:47:13.140 --> 00:47:21.160
But if you're working without a therapist — and even an ordinary psychologist, if you go and say, I had a session —

00:47:21.160 --> 00:47:29.900
they aren't across it, they don't know how to help. Which is why at our club we run free integration meetings.

00:47:29.900 --> 00:47:38.460
Once a week, on a Saturday, I help people integrate their experiences.

00:47:38.460 --> 00:47:47.000
It's an amazing session, genuinely amazing, because everyone shares — people come from everywhere, someone's just back from the Amazon after ayahuasca. Unfortunately there aren't

00:47:47.260 --> 00:47:51.400
enough therapists here who help with integration, and it matters enormously.

00:47:51.400 --> 00:47:52.260
What do you mean, there aren't? What about you?

00:47:53.740 --> 00:47:54.540
There are few of us.

00:47:55.280 --> 00:47:57.160
So we educate people. Only me.

00:47:59.500 --> 00:48:03.240
You see, this is what I mean — you're so humble.

00:48:03.240 --> 00:48:06.820
That's the mushrooms' work, you know. Yes.

00:48:08.320 --> 00:48:14.140
Integration really does matter. All the work happens once integration begins.

00:48:14.160 --> 00:48:22.440
Is microdosing taken in courses? In courses — you mean a schedule? Look, take vitamins as an example.

00:48:22.440 --> 00:48:30.160
I recorded a podcast recently with Anya, our nutritionist, and with vitamin E, say, you take it

00:48:30.160 --> 00:48:38.380
in courses — a month, then you stop. What about microdosing? Well, when you work with healing plants

00:48:38.440 --> 00:48:44.000
I always say every person's experience is as individual as a fingerprint.

00:48:44.360 --> 00:48:48.320
It depends first of all on the task, on the goal.

00:48:48.460 --> 00:48:55.480
I always ask: what is your goal, what are you after, what do you want to get from this? So it's very individual? Very individual.

00:48:55.480 --> 00:49:01.840
Very individual. There are standard protocols — four days on,

00:49:02.240 --> 00:49:06.260
three days off, or one day on, one day off.

00:49:06.660 --> 00:49:14.220
And again, the big changes start in the time when you are not taking the mushrooms.

00:49:14.420 --> 00:49:17.160
When integration begins. On the dry days, presumably.

00:49:17.580 --> 00:49:24.140
Usually yes, there are courses — you can take it for 30 days, 60 days, then take a break.

00:49:24.820 --> 00:49:32.160
And you and I have an event in February. I wanted to ask what will—

00:49:32.160 --> 00:49:40.260
First we should advertise our event. Oxana and I are running an event on the 23rd of February. It will be

00:49:40.260 --> 00:49:47.940
a talk on— On microdosing. A talk on microdosing, and sound therapy as well.

00:49:48.060 --> 00:49:55.980
Tell us what will happen there, beyond the talk. In the podcast we've already answered

00:49:55.980 --> 00:50:02.040
a lot of questions, but in a podcast nobody can call in and say, I have this particular question.

00:50:02.160 --> 00:50:07.640
At the talk everyone will have the chance to ask their own question and speak with Oxana.

00:50:07.720 --> 00:50:15.020
But I specifically wanted to ask about the sound bowls. And as I understand it, this will be a practical session.

00:50:15.140 --> 00:50:20.040
So there'll be some kind of microdose. Tell us — I'm making this up as I go.

00:50:20.160 --> 00:50:23.840
Usually I talk for about forty, forty-five minutes,

00:50:24.700 --> 00:50:30.840
and give everything I know, all my experience: what microdosing is,

00:50:31.640 --> 00:50:39.900
what it's for, how it helps, how to take it. We talk about harm reduction, we talk about the science,

00:50:39.900 --> 00:50:48.300
we talk about protocols and about the benefits. Then, if people want to try a microdosing tea,

00:50:48.300 --> 00:50:56.820
they're welcome to. And then our Vika plays these wonderful sound bowls.

00:50:56.820 --> 00:51:05.780
Sound therapy, which genuinely heals through vibration, because our physical body

00:51:05.780 --> 00:51:13.520
is energy. Vika plays the bowls and it's usually a divine experience.

00:51:13.520 --> 00:51:22.240
People often say, wow, I've never been so relaxed in my life. So bring your questions. Bring cushions, a blanket. Bring a yoga mat.

00:51:22.240 --> 00:51:29.940
Bring your stress, your anxiety and your fears, because you'll be leaving all of it with us. That sounds wonderful,

00:51:29.940 --> 00:51:35.720
honestly, and I'll be taking part in it myself — I'm genuinely curious.

00:51:36.580 --> 00:51:43.880
I think we've answered all the many questions I had. My last

00:51:43.880 --> 00:51:49.780
question will be about side effects and contraindications.

00:51:51.660 --> 00:51:55.780
Well, yes — of course we need to know everything.

00:51:56.520 --> 00:52:03.940
That's an excellent question, a lot of people ask it, and I can genuinely give you

00:52:03.940 --> 00:52:12.920
the best answer: yes, the biggest side effect, the biggest change that happens, is that you

00:52:12.920 --> 00:52:18.460
begin to live your life far better, far more fully,

00:52:19.580 --> 00:52:27.440
more happily. You value the small things — every breath, people,

00:52:27.440 --> 00:52:35.600
love, care, tenderness. You're reborn, and you become so much

00:52:35.600 --> 00:52:44.540
a part of all of this, of this galaxy, of this world. That's probably the biggest

00:52:44.540 --> 00:52:53.480
effect I see: people start living a full life. But that's wonderful. It's wonderful. When my clients work

00:52:53.480 --> 00:52:56.820
with me, that's all they see.

00:52:56.940 --> 00:53:01.940
A full life. Tell me the bad part. There is no bad part with me.

00:53:02.340 --> 00:53:04.320
No contraindications at all?

00:53:06.380 --> 00:53:08.720
Diabetes, high blood pressure? No.

00:53:09.820 --> 00:53:13.980
People come with diabetes, people come with high blood pressure.

00:53:14.240 --> 00:53:18.600
Thyroid, low iron. No, all of that is completely fine.

00:53:18.720 --> 00:53:24.280
People come and psilocybin works with it. So no, none at all.

00:53:24.380 --> 00:53:33.340
I'm telling you seriously: the biggest effect is that they start living a full life, and life changes only for the better. That's wonderful, and I think

00:53:33.460 --> 00:53:40.800
that's a beautiful note to end our podcast on. We've talked for a whole hour, and in that hour

00:53:40.800 --> 00:53:47.060
of this talk, of our conversation, everything became clear and understandable to me.

00:53:47.300 --> 00:53:52.600
Thank you for putting it so plainly. Your wonderful Russian. My clumsy Russian.

00:53:52.600 --> 00:53:57.160
How do I say it in Russian — and you managed it all beautifully.

00:53:57.740 --> 00:54:01.960
I'm sure we'll meet for another podcast.

00:54:02.100 --> 00:54:08.020
We'll look at you as a person, at all your achievements, because we could talk about those endlessly.

00:54:08.740 --> 00:54:15.000
Thank you for the information. I'm already looking forward to our meeting on the 23rd of February.

00:54:15.840 --> 00:54:20.980
Lovely, I enjoyed this. Thank you so much, Olya. Come along, we'll be very glad to see you.

00:54:21.520 --> 00:54:27.100
Bring your questions with you. There you are, friends. If you still have questions, write to Oxana.

00:54:27.240 --> 00:54:34.380
I'll leave all the details in the description of this podcast. And thank you for the time you spent with us today.

00:54:34.860 --> 00:54:36.300
Bye for now, until next time!
